Trivia time!

Lovers of fun facts and collectors of trivial knowledge should gather up their brainiest buddies, build a team of eight, and get ready for the mind-bending fun of the Cumberland Community Forest Society annual Fall Trivia.

This is the most fun you’ll ever have playing trivia! Enjoy delicious local beer, savoury treats, awesome door prizes, a legendary 50/50 and hilarious antics with local quiz master Roger Albert and his brilliant assistant Carolyn Kirk-Albert.

From local history, plant life, sports, books and music to chemistry, wars, psychology and pop culture – be prepared to test your mental muscle Nov. 22.

It costs $10 per person to play and there's a maximum of eight players per team. Sorry, no minors.

Doors open at 6:30. Reserved tables must be claimed by 6:45. Game on at 7.

All of the proceeds from this event go towards the Cumberland Community Forest Society (CCFS) and their goal to purchase beautiful forest lands surrounding the Village of Cumberland.

Some of this forest, including a large parcel directly adjacent to the village, is scheduled to be logged as early as 2015. The CCFS is campaigning to purchase over 50 new hectares of forest land for the community.

This forest is filled with diverse flora and fauna, heritage landmarks, hiking and mountain biking trails and stunning views. This will be added to 71 hectares already protected.
