Inspector Walton headlines Leaders Luncheon

The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the May Leaders Luncheon with local RCMP Inspector, Tim Walton. The lunch will take place on Thursday, May 11 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel. Inspector Walton will focus on safety in the workplace and what to do if something does happen. Does your workplace have an emergency protocol in place? Some smaller businesses do not.

The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the May Leaders Luncheon with local RCMP Inspector, Tim Walton. The lunch will take place on Thursday, May 11 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel. Inspector Walton will focus on safety in the workplace and what to do if something does happen. Inspector Walton is also interested in hearing what challenges the business community is facing in regards to community policing. Come with your questions and learn more about these issues.

Inspector Tim Walton arrived in the Comox Valley in July 2014 as the detachment commander. Over the past 32 years in his career he has worked in 5 provinces and 2 territories. Before coming to the Comox Valley he was posted at the RCMP national headquarters in Ottawa.
