Ocean7 wins Best Seafood on Plate honour

Ocean7 Restaurant and AQUA Bistro and Wine Bar at the Kingfisher Oceanside Resort &Spa has received the distinction of People’s Choice Award for ‘Best Seafood on Your Plate.’

The award was presented as part of the 11th annual B.C. Shellfish and Seafood Festival, the largest seafood celebration in Western Canada.

“This is a great honour for the debut of our two new restaurants,” says executive chef Nyle Petherbridge.

Ocean7 Restaurant is an elegant fine dining experience, relaxed and welcoming with warm, attentive service. The menu features innovative cuisine led by its ingredients: West Coast seafood, grain fed meats and fresh organic produce from local sustainable growers. Set in a location with panoramic ocean vistas from every seat, the interior décor is rustic French provincial crossed with contemporary charm of the Pacific Coast.

AQUA Bistro and Wine Bar features playful casual plates and a mixologist that incorporates seasonal ingredients infused into refreshing signature cocktails, while a master sommelier tours patrons through the wines of the old and the new world. The New York style bar opens to a patio to die for. With breathtaking views of the Georgia Straight and beloved Kingfisher gardens, cozy up to the oversized outdoor fire pit to watch spectacular wildlife and sunsets.
