Advice offered on pain
A six-week education program at the Comox Valley Nursing Centre will focus on living well with chronic pain.
This educational program features interactive sessions with nurses, a social worker specializing in stress management, a nutritionist, a kinesiologist (exercise specialist), and a pharmacist.
Participants can self-refer and the program is free. Sessions take place Mondays from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Glacier Room of the Nursing Centre at 615 10th St. in Courtenay.

Jan. 31 – Nature of Chronic Pain
Feb. 7 – Emotional Well-being
Feb. 14 – Exercise
Feb. 21 – Healthy Eating
Feb. 28 – Medication Management
