Rent quartets for Valentines

The Forbidden Plateau Barbershop Chorus is once again offering a singing Valentine for your sweetheart, mother, father, co-workers, volunteer group, etc.

For $40, a quartet will visit any home, office, classroom, shop or business this Sunday or Monday, Feb. 13 or 14.

They will arrive at the designated time, sing two songs to the person or persons, present a rose, and photos can capture the moment as a keepsake. Have your cameras ready.

The group’s charity of choice is the local Prostate Cancer Awareness Group in the Comox Valley, and for the past five years, thanks to fundraisers like this, the Barbershoppers have been able to donate up to $1,600 each year to fund PSA tests for men who otherwise may not be tested. Each year these tests save lives.

If you feel as they do that this is a worthy cause, support their efforts by purchasing a singing Valentine for someone you care about.

For bookings, call Phil at 250-897-1749 or Al at 250-339-3668.
