Basics For Babies drive
The four Rotary clubs in the Comox Valley have organized the second annual Basics For Babies drive for the Comox Valley Food Bank.
This Sunday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Native Sons Hall, Rotarians will offer a delicious pancake breakfast in return for a donation of baby needs or food for the food bank. Items needed for the little ones — jars of baby food, Pablum, formula, juice boxes,diapers, baby wipes, infant cereals, glass baby bottles, and any non-perishable food items.
Last year's, inaugural event was a big hit and lots donations were collected. The food bank will always welcome cash, too.
The Strathcona Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of music director Pippa Williams, will provide music.
