Naswell dinner served Christmas Day

The 30th annual Earl Naswell Community Christmas Dinner will be held again this year at noon on Christmas Day in the upper hall of the Filberg Centre in downtown Courtenay.

This free dinner is open to everyone wishing to attend; guests from all walks of life are invited to come together and share some Comox Valley Christmas spirit.

Organizers have been overwhelmed by the number of volunteers who have chosen to spend a few hours of their own Christmas to help prepare for the dinner. They are ready to don their Santa hats to ensure everyone has a merry Christmas!

Through hard work and huge generosity, a mountain of turkeys, veggies, desserts and other supplies have been collected from local businesses and Chef Andrew is ready to put together another big feast for one and all.
