Comox Valley Multicultural & Immigrant Support Society wishes everyone in the Comox Valley a lucky, prosperous, wonderful Year of the Horse.

Lunar New Year Day is Friday — the Green Horse Year.

Sunday at 4:30 p.m., the society along with international students from North Island College and Maple Pool United soccer players will celebrate Lunar New Year at the Winterbites Festival by appearing with a dragon at the outdoor rink at Simms Park.

CVMISS will have a table with decorations, candies and red envelopes to share the culture and fun.
