On Saturday, Dec.1, join the Just in Time Choirs as they explore the concept of time from a wide range of perspectives with song.

The choirs will have you tapping your feet and singing along with jazzy swing standards like the iconic Just in Time, favourite pop hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s including Cyndi Lauper’s Time after Time and the funky Fly Like an Eagle, to the ethereal recent radio hit by Snow Patrol, Chasing Cars.

The three contemporary choirs perform under the direction of Wendy Nixon Stothert and musical collaborators include Sean Mooney on piano, Jeff Drummond on guitar, Dave Taylor on bass and Lucas Schuller on drums.

There are two performances: a matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening show at 7 p.m. at the Comox Pentecostal Church, 1919 Guthrie Road, Comox. The choirs are well known for their high energy, engaging and expressive presentations. The musical selections include something for everyone.

Tickets are $17 for adults, children 12 and under free. They are available online at www.justintime.tickit.ca and at Blue Heron Books in Comox and House of Colour, Benjamin Moore, 5th Street, Courtenay.

Let the good times roll!
