Former premier visiting
Former premier Ujjal Dosanjh will be the guest speaker Feb. 23 at a fundraising dinner in Courtenay.
The Vancouver south MP will speak at the Golden Carriage restaurant in Courtenay, the Vancouver Island North Liberal Association said in a news release.
Dosanjh has been a federal Opposition critic of national defence, public safety and foreign affairs. He has served on the standing committee of international development, the committee on public safety and national security, the committee on foreign affairs and international development and the committee on the Canadian mission in Afghanistan.
Also present at the dinner will be Mike Holland, the federal Liberal candidate for Vancouver Island North.
