About 90 cyclists embarked Friday on the fourth annual Boomer’s Ride, a two-day, 240-kilometre journey from Courtenay to Victoria. The ride honours Andrew 'Boomer' Eykelenboom, a Comox soldier killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan in 2006.
