Cumberland CAO moves onto new opporunity

Anja Nurvo, the chief administrative officer for the Village of Cumberland, has recently submitted her resignation.
She has accepted a position with the Township of Esquimalt as their new manager of corporate services. She will start with Esquimalt after Labour Day.
On a personal note, she is excited about relocating with her family to the Victoria area. Professionally, she is looking forward to working for a larger municipality of 17,000 residents and becoming a part of their management team.
Anja has been CAO of Cumberland since 2007. Council will make a decision in the near future on recruitment for a replacement.
