Durrant resigns from village: report

According to an internet report, David Durrant, community service manager for the Village of Cumberland, has resigned.

Durrant, the former director of recreation for the Town of Comox, accepted the position for the village in September 2009.

"He's just decided to move on for personal reasons," village CAO Sundance Topham said. "He's going to be hard to replace. We wish David luck with what he chooses to do in the future."

Durrant could not be reached for comment.
