NDP MLAs discussing senior drivers' testing Friday in Courtenay

MLA Claire Trevena (North Island) and MLA Nicholas Simons (Powell River-Sunshine Coast) are hosting a town hall meeting this Friday (April 27) at the Lower Native Sons Hall in Courtenay.
The meeting, which starts at 3:30 p.m., will deal with senior driving fitness testing — the DriveAble program.
Changes were announced by the government on March 19 in response to pressure from the Opposition and the public.
Claire and Nicholas will ask Friday if these changes go far enough and will also listen to concerns and people’s experiences as well as talk about solutions.
