The public is invited to a memorial service for Emily Wood from 1 to 4 p.m. on July 28 at the Florence Filberg Centre at 411 Anderton Ave. in Courtenay. Emily lost her battle against cancer on July 14. The community rallied around her and her husband, Shawn Wood, during her final weeks to help make Emily's dying wish of a dream wedding come true.
