Knife-wielding, Mohawk-wearing man sought by Comox Valley RCMP

The Comox Valley RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in locating a man carrying a knife in a public place.

The man was reported to be carrying a folding knife with its blade open and held in his hand with the blade pointing up the under side of his forearm in an attempt to conceal it.

The man was walking around the parking lot near the Winners store at 3199 Cliffe Ave. in Courtenay on Tuesday at about 3:14 p.m. The man appeared to be looking for someone in particular and looked angry.

This individual is described as being Caucasian, about six feet two inches tall with a large build and black hair fashioned in a Mohawk hair style. He was wearing boarder-style shorts, flip flop-style sandals and a bright turquoise-coloured shirt.

The man also had tattoos on both arms and his neck.

If anyone knows who this man is or have any information in regards to this complaint, they are asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 or Crime Stoppers at 250-338-8477.
