Cormorant helicopter flying Aug. 27 over CFB Comox

A Cormorant helicopter will fly between 500 and 1,000 feet as part of a routine test of airfield navigational aids Monday, Aug. 27 at 19 Wing Comox.

Residents in the vicinity of the 19 Wing airfield can expect to see and hear the helicopter performing various low-level flight manoeuvres from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.

This test is being done to ensure the safe operation of visual landing aids at the airfield.

Residents are thanked for their patience and understanding during this testing.
