Habitat for Humanity

Lieut.-Col. Deb McKenzie shows off CFB Comox
Lieut.-Col. Deb McKenzie shows off CFB Comox's Women Build team's recent fundraising initiative for Habitat for Humanity's building project on Piercy Avenue in Courtenay. This pretty lady in pink was plopped on Comox Valley resident's lawns — it cost to have her removed. The team had raised nearly $2,000 as of last week, and one evening she was moved 17 times in about three hours, which raised close to $300.
