Fire sends large plume of smoke into skies over Courtenay
A GARAGE AT 1921 Dogwood Drive in Courtenay caught on fire Monday morning, as large flames and plume of smoke were visible across the city. The fire spread to the attic and Courtenay Fire Chief Don Bardonnex said the home sustained smoke damage. The two occupants were able to escape.
