Roadwork in Courtenay this week byproduct of water upgrades

Upgrades to the Comox Valley Regional District's water supply system will involve roadwork midway up Ryan Road hill in Courtenay, advises the CVRD.
The work is weather-dependent but is anticipated to take place on Wednesday or Thursday night between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. to minimize the impact on traffic.
The Comox Valley Regional District is a federation of three electoral areas and three municipalities providing sustainable services for residents and visitors to the area.
The members of the regional district work collaboratively on services for the benefit of the diverse urban and rural areas of the Comox Valley.
