Striking teachers at Courtenay Elementary School were back "off" the job and back on the picket lines this week, waving at passing motorists. Government and union officials are back at the bargaining table, hoping to hammer out a deal before the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year. The new year is scheduled to start on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
