It doesn't get much more Canadian than this!

Many Courtenay and Comox residents received a pleasant surprise Thursday, while out shovelling their walks and driveways.

The Tim Hortons crew - owners Tracy and Stephen Caissie, their daughters, Abby and Hannah, and fellow employee Kierra - spent the better part of the day delivering free coffee to unsuspecting, but very appreciative residents.

“It was so much fun,” said Tracy. “People were so surprised. Sometimes we would pull up and let them speak first. They’d say ‘I don’t suppose you have any coffee in there,’ and we’d say ‘actually, we do’ and start pouring. We even helped one lady shovel her driveway.”
