Comox Valley RCMP seeking witnesses to ‘indecent act’ in Northeast Woods

Comox Valley RCMP are looking for witnesses after a man was seen exposing himself in the Northeast Woods of Comox in the afternoon on Jan. 18.

A trail walker who made the report to police on Jan. 19 said that she was walking along the trail between 3:30 and 4:45 p.m. when she saw a young man exposing himself. She described the man as being approximately 20 years old, tall and thin with medium length hair, wearing tight clothing, and walking a medium-sized black and white dog.

“The man was last seen running toward the parking lot at the end of Torrence Road,” said Comox Valley RCMP media relations officer, Const. Monika Terragni. “We would like to hear from anyone who saw this man, knows him, or might have dashcam footage from the parking lot.”

The Comox RCMP is asking residents to report any suspicious activities immediately to the RCMP.
