Cougar spotted near Courtenay Elementary

Readers are reporting cougar sightings all over the Comox Valley

A cougar has been spotted near Courtenay Elementary School.

Reports of the spotting came in Thursday at about noon, on 17th Street, between McPhee and Fitzgerald Avenue.

The school has been advised.

Other spottings have occurred today around the Comox Valley and in Victoria where police have advised residents to be cautious.
