Bruno Munger used a telephoto lens from his boat to capture this image of a breaching orca, Monday at Goose Spit in Comox.
He said 11 transient, or mammal eating, orcas captured a sea lion and dismantled it while putting on a show. Then the whales spent the day foraging along the beach.
“What a spectacle!” he said.
