Stacey Brenson has been volunteering with the Fine Arts Academy at Navigate (North Island Distance Education School) since 2012. She organizes a community outings program by liaising with numerous individuals and groups to co-ordinate rock climbing adventures, farm tours, wildlife demonstrations and other such activities in and around the Comox Valley.

For the past 32 years, Jeff Hampton has volunteered with the Comox Valley Food Bank, where he serves as president. His altruism, which extends to other community groups, takes the form of numerous daily tasks such as unloading donations, processing food items, liaising with donors and engaging with clients.
