A travel trailer like this was stolen Oct. 13 from a Fanny Bay RV park.

On Saturday, Oct. 13, someone stole a 32-foot Surveyor by Forest River travel trailer from Fanny Bay.

In the evening hours, someone driving a silver or light colored Chevrolet SUV, possibly a Tahoe, hooked up the 32-foot travel trailer at the Lighthouse RV Park, located at 8260 Island Highway South in Fanny Bay, and then drove away.

“The travel trailer has a solar panel on the top and had BC Licence Plate WDX25B attached to the back at the time of the theft,” said Const. Monika Terragni, Comox Valley RCMP media relations officer. “Whomever has the trailer right now will not be able to register it because it has been reported stolen.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 and refer to file 2018-14651.

If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Comox Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at comoxvalleycrimestoppers.bc.ca. When reporting through Crime Stoppers, you never have to identify yourself or testify in court, and you could receive a cash reward for your information.
