One person has been taken to hospital as Comox Valley RCMP are currently investigating what is believed to be a shooting in Courtenay.
An ambulance was seen leaving the area near 16th Street and Piercy Avenue shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday with two police cars nearby.
Additionally, RCMP have part of Salisbury Road one block west of Arden Elementary taped off to traffic.
