McARTHUR - A. James of Courtenay passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, March 26, 2007. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife Myra; sons Derek (Darline) and Jamie (Darlene) and twin granddaughters Heather and Jennifer. He was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth. Jim spent nearly 30 years with the Canadian Armed Forces retiring in 1988, then spent several years in Edmonton with N.W.I. and C.A.E., before moving to the Comox Valley.
In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his friends at the pool and most of all time with his family. Jim was also a member of Branch 160, Royal Canadian Legion, Comox.
