Marryatt - Ainsley Urquhart “Pete”
Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on November 9, 2009, following a brief illness. Dad left us to be with mom, Lynda Jane.
Predeceased by his parents Cecil David and Dorothy Melville Marryatt and brother David Cecil, Pete is survived by his children David (Kathy), Robert (Liz) and Deanna (Steve) Maxwell and several grandchildren.
Born in Prince George, B.C., he grew up in Esquimalt. After joining the Air Force as a Military Police Officer, he served for 28 years at various postings.
He retired to the Valley he loved in 1995 to pursue his passion for salmon fishing.
A gathering of family and friends in Celebration of Pete’s life will take place at a later date. Time and location will be published in a future edition. For those who wish, donations in his memory to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
