RAHN Albert W.
1927 – 2007
Mr. Albert W. Rahn of Courtenay, BC, Born in Stenen, Saskatchewan on Oct. 5th, 1927 passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 28th, 2007, returning home to our Creator. His wife of 52 years, Alice; her sister Joan; his son, Brent; daughter, Cheryl and husband John; his granddaughter, Kari and boyfriend Dave, were all at his side. Albert asked for his grandson Grant, who wanted to be present but could not make it. Albert lived his life being a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, neighbour and friend.
For almost 80 years we were blessed with your presence, to love you was easy, to lose you was hard. Albert you are a special man who will be missed more than you could ever imagine. Always live in our hearts as we speak many stories that make up the wonderful memories of you.
With heavy hearts we bid farewell,
But not for long I hear they tell,
Of a wonderful place I’m sure you’ll be,
I will see you there waiting for me.
A Tea will be held in memory of Albert at the Rahn’s residence on Sunday, 5th of August from 1pm to 4pm.
