At the end of a beautiful summer day, Scotty Fleming passed peacefully into the night. His dearest friend, Sandy Sutherland, and Scotty's three children were at his side as he drifted off to sleep in the comfort of his own home. He leaves behind his faithful and cherished friend, Sandy. He will be dearly missed by his son, Ian of Powell River, his daughters Gail (Curt Moyls) of Ladysmith and Alison (Paul Macpherson) of Dubai, as well as his grandchildren Derrick, Mitchell, Shelby, Maia and Lachlan. He is also survived by Heather Fleming and his brother Ian Fleming (April) of Oundle, England. His family would like to thank Sandy for his loving care and devotion, Dr. Chow, Lynn, and the incredible support staff. A small celebration of Scotty's 75 years will take place at his house at 1890 Ryan Rd. on Wed., August 13th between 2 and 4 pm.
