BARBER
Alyce May (Tillotson)
Alyce passed away on July 16, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Comox, BC, with her devoted partner Bill at her side. She was born in Roblin, Manitoba on December 19, (she never told her age).
She is predeceased by her husband Walter Barber, grandson Kevin Barber, sisters Ada Tillotson and Lesa Hildebaugh, son-in-law Glen Shlopak, brothers-in-law Harold Hildebaugh, Al Kothlow and Scott Webber.
She is survived by her loving partner Bill Beaudin, and sadly missed by her adoring doggy "Adi".
She is also survived by, and loved by, her children Maureen Shlopak, Donna Buck (Tom), Harry Barber (Teo), Lorraine Runnells (Ron); her grandchildren: Cherie Bottenburg (David), James Buck, Micheal Barber, Lisa Barber (Dexton Manton); her great-grandchildren: Sarah Kneller (Steve), Maria Squier (David), Jack Ryan Manton (9 mths); her great-great grandchild Dillon Ray Squier (17 mths.)
She is also survived by her brother George Tillotson (Pru) and sadly missed by her little sisters Ethel Kothlow, Helen Mann (Tom) and Florence Webber. She is also sadly missed by her dear friends and helpers, Chris Judy and Becky Warren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #160, Comox on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, entrusted with arrangements. For those wishing, donations in her memory to the SPCA, Box 1284, Comox, BC V9N 7Z8 would be appreciated.
