1935 - 2006
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ann Pratt, a long-time resident of the Comox Valley on April 12th, 2006. Ann was born in England on May 10, 1935, and settled in the Comox Valley when Ann was a young adult. Ann was predeceased by her parents: Reginald and Anne Sivers and her husband Gordon in 1994. She is survived by her children Steve (Leslie) Pratt, Sherri (Garry) Brown, Margot Pratt and Sandy Pratt, her brother David (Heather) Sivers, and grandchildren: Chris Pratt, Sam Brown and Adam Brown and extended family members. She was a loving and strongly devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ann was very social, she loved people and she was a kind and caring friend. Ann was an artist, she loved animals, nature, gardening, painting, sewing, and camping.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Piercy’s ~ Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
