VALENTINE, Anna Christine
Anna Christine Valentine passed away October 12, 2010. She was predeceased by husband, Earl Clifford, and son, Earl William, and is survived by son, Robert (Rose); daughters, Mary Anna McKay (Gilbert) and Elsie Carter; grandchildren, Barry Epps (Traci) and Angela DeJersey (Alan); and great grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua and Aiyanna. Anna was born September 29, 1917 at Thamesford, Ontario and moved to the Valley in 1946. She had been a member of the Comox United Church UCW and the Glacier View Lodge auxiliary; and for a number of years she volunteered at the Cumberland care facility. Anna's passions in life were her family, friends and her garden.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Reggler and the nurses at St. Joseph's first floor second emergency overflow for their care and to extend special thanks to Vivienne and Sandra for the love and care they provided to Anna in her last months at home. No service to be held at Anna's request and for those wishing in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stroke Recovery Association of BC (Comox Valley Branch).
