Cutland, Anna Jane (formerly Watson, nee: McKenzie) of Courtenay, passed away peacefully at home with her family and pets on August 21st, 2002. Anna was born in Malagash Mines, NS on November 4th, 1935 and has been a resident in the Comox Valley since 1986.
She is survived by her loving husband Gil; son David Watson and his wife Rose of Nanaimo; son Michael Watson of Courtenay; daughter Cindy and her husband Peter; and grandchildren: Chris, Jenny and Lindsay of Lillooet; brothers: Don (Ev) McKenzie and John (Jeanie) and their families of Malagash Mines, NS. A Memorial Service for Anna will be held at 3:30 PM on Monday, August 26th, 2002 at St. George’s United Church, Courtenay. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anna may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the S.P.C.A. Vancouver Island Memorial Society entrusted with arrangements.
