Anne Patricia “Trish” Catrysse passed away on July 13, 2009. She was born in Thornliebank, Scotland on March 28, 1941.
Trish moved to Canada 42 years ago and lived almost 30 years in the Hamilton, Ontario area. Just over 12 years ago, due to the birth of her grandson, she came out west to visit and fell in love with Vancouver Island. She settled in Courtenay and made it her home. She is remembered and missed.
Trish was predeceased by her husband, Gerard “Gerry” Catrysse; her mother, Hilda Helm and her father, Eric Woodward. She is survived by her sister, Pamela Holmes; daughters: Anne Fleming and Jennifer Fleming and her grandson, Connor Milligan.
A Memorial Service will be held at Piercy’s- Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
A donation may be made in Trish’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
