Annie Louise Thames passed away on Thursday, October 24th, 2002 with her husband of 60 years at her side. Annie was born on Denman Island in 1920, spent her childhood on Denman and Hornby Islands, married Cyril Thames of Bowser and spent the rest of her life there. She is survived by her loving husband Cyril; her son Lorne (Lorraine); daughter Dianne and grandchildren Heather and Michael; sisters Jessie and Norah of Nanaimo; brothers Jim (Joyce) of Nanaimo, Alex of Fanny Bay and Norman of Prince Rupert. Annie was predeceased by her parents John and Maude McGee, and brothers John and Gordon. Burial took place on Denman Island on Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 with Father John Paetkau officiating. PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME has been entrusted with arrangements.
