Kooyman - Arie Willem, aged 77 of Comox, died peacefully on Thursday, March 20th, 2003. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Nellie; son Andries (Margot) Kooyman of Surrey; daughters: Chris Dysart (Herb Widdifield) and Sue (Dave) Newton, both of Victoria; grandchildren: Dale, Karen, Jay, Derek and Mike; 5 sisters in Holland and his “walking buddy”, Freddie. In his leisure, Arie was an avid golfer who loved the outdoors and spending time in his garden. A private family gathering will be held in Victoria at a later date.
