The family of Arthur Rowlandson wish to invite those who would like to drop by to join us as we celebrate Arthur’s life.


Thursday July 8th 2010 at 2 pm

Comox Valley Presbyterian Church

725 Aspen Road, Comox B.C.


Arthur will be remembered as a very honorable and kind man who was a strong, positive influence to many.

He was a devoted Husband and Father.


Arthur leaves behind his loving wife Sylvia Kristine Rowlandson of 50 years, celebrated October 17th 2009. His son’s Steven of Barrie On., Bruce (Jacqueline) of Barrie On., Glenn (Charlene) of Comox BC. Grandchildren Beth, Emily, Nicholas & Matthew. Brother Barry (Gloria) of North Bay On.


Arthur joined the R.C.A.F. July 1958, trained in Clinton On as a Radar Technician, transferred to Greenwood NS, then across Canada. Was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 33 years & retired as a Major.


He was an active member of the Kiwanis Legion, Base Borden Flying Club and Comox Valley Presbyterian Church. Whose passions were R.V.ing, fishing, wood working, a Mr. Fix it.


Our sincere thanks to Dr. Laura Bell, Nursing staff and Medical Daycare of St Joseph’s Hospital. Donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to B.C. Cancer Society.
