Aurora Flores Felix Villanueva

November 15, 1928 - September 25, 2017

Aurora Flores Felix Villanueva was born on November 15th, 1928 in Cardona Rizal, Philippines.

She was the second of five children born to Esperanza and Ernesto Felix. After a whirlwind tour of the United States, Aurora and her new husband, Dr Marcos Villanueva immigrated to Canada. Shortly thereafter, they settled down and established roots in the Comox Valley.

It didn't take long to find a sense of community - Aurora was graceful, but more importantly, she was gracious.

She drew people to her with her unwavering sense of kindness, compassion, and generosity.

She was warm and loving, and she was a truly wonderful woman who left the world a better place.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Marc (Tracey) and Patty (Greg Nobbs) and her six grandchildren: Maya, Cameron, Alia, Reghan, Lucas and Leyton.

She also leaves behind a dedicated extended family and a caring group of close friends.

The family is eternally grateful for the remarkable staff at the Comox Valley Hospice for treating our beloved Lola with such dignity.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ The King Parish this Friday, September 29th at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Comox Valley Hospice Society in Aurora's memory.
