It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Beverley June Rushton on July 15th, 2017 in Cumberland, BC. Bev is survived by Stan Rushton, beloved husband
of 64 years; sons Brad Rushton (Delima) of Qualicum Beach, BC; daughters Janice Isenor (Rob) of Merville, BC and Shelley Larsen (Dan) of Maple Ridge, BC; grandchildren Matthew Isenor, Danielle Isenor, Julia Larsen, Nicholas Larsen, Alex Rushton, Derek Rushton, and Luke Stacey, great grandson Juda Stacey; sister Lorna Harvey of Comox, BC and Aunt Dorothy Harvie of Cumberland.
Our Mom was a very strong and caring person who loved her family deeply. She also loved gardening, sewing, knitting and crocheting as well as being an avid golfer and belonging to the Sunnydale Golf Club.Because of her skill at handling their finances they were able to enjoy their love of travelling by going abroad as well as being snowbirds and travelling down south. She was anawesome cook! Her family especially loved her apple pie, applesauce tarts, fresh bread and cinnamon buns.
A Celebration of Bev's life will be held on Monday, July 24th, 2017 at 1:00pm from Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Rd., Courtenay.
A tea will be held after the service at Janice Isenor's home for those who wish to visit with the family, 6391 Treheme. Rd., Merville, BC. 250-871-5064.
