Turtle, Bill
It is with great sadness, we Carrie and Nina Turtle, announce the passing of our dear father. Bill Turtle “Irish Bill” of the Comox Valley passed away peacefully in St. Joseph’s Hospital on March 11, 2006.
Born in Ireland he became a Canadian citizen in 1960, Bill Turtle was a logging truck driver for over 20 years. Bill was known for his passion for motorbikes. Over the years he enjoyed working on his Norton, Triumph and his beloved Harley Davidson.
He leaves behind his daughters Carrie & Nina, sister Amy and grandson Connor. He will be missed by many others; family members and friends include Margaret, Marty, Julie, Andy, Sarah, Alycia, Erin, Ryan, Terry, Debbie, Sparky, Lisa, Frank and of course his loyal dog Thor.
At this time we would like to make a special thanks to Dr. Deborah Wiens for her outstanding loving care.
We would like you to join us in Celebrating Bill at the Cumberland Hotel on March 25th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Comox Valley Chapter.
