PETERSEN, Carol Marlene of Parksville, BC passed away at 2:50 p.m. after a hard fought battle on May 13, 2002 at the age of 68 years. Marlene is survived by her loving husband, Bob; 1 son, Rob; 2 brothers, Lee and Bill and their families; 2 sisters, Doris and Betty and their families; brothers-in-law, Hugh, Harvey, El and Roy and sister-in-law Midge and Ev.
Predeceased by her parents, brother and daughter-in-law.
Marlene loved to golf and curl, and was loved by all who knew her. Her brilliant smile and hearty laughter would brighten the darkest room. Our loss here on earth is heaven’s gain, God be with you sweetheart, you are in our hearts forever, and good curling, Bob & Rob.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oceanside Community Church, 1420 Alberni Hwy., Parksville, BC. Pastors Jim Caruso and Dave Postal officiating.
In lieu of flowers, if one so wishes, donations to the Marlene Peterson Memorial Fund can be made at any branch of TD Canada Trust Bank.
