October 26, 1967 – June 25, 2009
Chris passed away quietly at home at age 41 after a long and valiant battle with brain cancer.
Born in Chatham, NB on October 26, 1967, Chris lived most of his life in the Comox Valley. He attended Vanier High School and was a long time employee of Canada Bread.
He is survived by his mother Joan, father Gary, sister Kelly, his daughters Amanda (21) and Jelissa (18), sons Nicholas (12) and Joshua (7), and two granddaughters, niece Ashley and companion Debbie.
He will be sadly missed and always remembered as a loving father, son, brother and friend by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Dr. Wiens, Dr. Winter and the staff at Community Home Support for their kindness and compassion and the Red Cross for all their help.
A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 3:00 pm at 914 Lloyd Road, near Kin Beach (straight down, past the Griffin Pub). All friends are welcome. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
