DRENTH, Clara Maria of Comox, passed away at home on Saturday, April 20th, 2002 at age 79. Clara was born in the Netherlands on May 11th, 1922. She is survived by her loving husband Egbert of 60 years, daughters Penny (Bill) Lott of Princeton, Sherry (Larry) Badger of Penticton and Clara (Peter) Van Dinter of Comox, grandchildren Eric, Charlie, Dean, Natasha, Christopher, Bryan, Julie, great grandchildren Angela, Roxanne, Chad, Stephanie and Jason, brother Antoon (Toos) Leo , and sister Maria (Jan) Warringa both of the Netherlands, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Clara had an incredible sense of humour, who loved her family, friends and people in general. She had a great smile and personality that attracted and influenced all that crossed her path. Clara will be missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Clara and family would like to thank all the homecare workers for there kindness, friendship, and loving care provided during her illness, Cumberland Medical Clinic for their help and Rexall Pharmacy in Comox for all their assistance.
A Celebration of Clara’s life will take place on Saturday, April 27th, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, Courtenay, B.C.
