McQUILLAN, Clara
March 12, 1915 - December 9, 2006
Clara, a resident of Glacier View Lodge, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 9th, 2006 at age 91. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her sons: Leland, Garry and Glen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Jake and Harold; sisters: Merceda and Anita; as well as many nieces and nephews. Clara was predeceased by her husband Stewart and her son Roland. She will be remembered for her passion for music and loved to sing whenever she had the opportunity. Viewing and visitation will take place from Comox Valley Funeral Home, 1101 Ryan Road on Saturday, December 16th from 12 noon until service time at 1:00pm. Pastor Tim Rumsch will officiate, assisted by Mr. Lawrence Burns. Interment will follow at Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Glacier View Lodge for their excellent care and kindness. Should friends wish, donations in Clara’s memory to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
