Cy passed away peacefully at Glacier View Lodge after a long fight with Alzheimers. He was 87. He was predeceased by his first wife and 1 sister and brother.
He is survived by his wife Alice, their son Ernest (Rebecca) and grandchildren Paige and Cyris. His step-daughter Vanessa (Tim) and grandchildren Ryan, Kyle, Lisa and stepson Robert, which he loved and looked after as his own. Children from his first marriage, daughter Pat, sons Doug, George and Art, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cy was born January 8th, 1916 in Moose Jaw, Sask. Served in the RCAF as a pilot starting in WWII through the Korean War continuing in Maritime Command as a Squadron Leader until his retirement from service in 1963 at Comox, where he started his second career in Real Estate. Cy was well known for his honesty and thoughtfulness. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
