Daile, aged 65 of Courtenay, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 11th, 2004. Daile was predeceased by her brother Bob Slaney and son Chris Neudorf and is survived by her loving family, son Glenn; daughters: Noella, Robin (Garry), and Sandy (Paul); grandchildren: Allison (Mick), Albert, Jenny and Jason; great-grandchildren: Quinton and Sebastian; brothers and sisters: John (Ann), Brenda, Claudia (Colin), Paul, Joe (Betty), and Noella (Frank), as well as many nieces and nephews. Daile was known as a tireless worker with numerous community organizations and was well-known as a patient and wonderfully good-natured person who loved her work. In her leisure, she enjoyed curling up with a good book and an excellent cup of tea. Her funeral service will take place on Monday, October 18th at 1:00 pm from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD. Viewing prior to the service, from 12:00 - 12:30pm. Fellowship and refreshments will follow in the “Garden Room and Outdoor Patio” of the funeral home. Should friends wish, donations in Daile’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.O.
