It’s with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Darcy our son. Darcy was born and raised in the Comox Valley. He attended Arden and Cumberland Elementary, Cumberland and Lake Trail Middle Schools and Vanier. Growing up Darcy enjoyed baseball, Tai Kwon Do and fishing in the Puntledge, his career path took him to Saskatchewan, Alberta and back to B.C. where he began his electrical apprenticeship in Prince George. Darcy was living and working in North Vancouver at the time of his death, his passion was his friends, guitars and music.
Darcy is survived by parents Colleen and Don, brothers Andrew and Austin, grandparents Jack, Fay Clifford, grandmother Helen Grant all from the Comox Valley, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched with his kindess and infectious smile.
A Celebration of Darcy’s life will be held September 4th 1-3pm at the Lower Native Sons Hall. In lieu of flowers charity of your choice.
